San Marin High School Journalism students Daria Hoang, Natalie Dybeck, Chloe Cheng, and Therese Cullen won awards in the 2015 Western Region Scholastic Arts & Writing Contest, competing against high school students throughout the Western United States.


NEW PROGRAM FOR FRESHMEN ENTERING SAN MARIN HIGH SCHOOL:

The Biotechnology Pre-Academy: Freshmen students who want to explore the field of Biotechnology prior to applying for the full Biotech Academy (junior or senior year) at San Marin. Biotech Pre-Academy students will be scheduled together in the science and English classes, will participate in some Biotech Academy events and will have the opportunity to explore the world of Biotechnology as a career. New Global Academy to be offered to juniors and seniors-Change the world.  That’s what you’ll do in the Global Academy.  If you want to work with groups of like-minded students and teachers who are action-oriented, interested in the environment, local and global issues, different cultural perspectives, and being a member of a small learning community, Global Academy might be the right place for you.  Opening in the fall of 2015-16, with juniors and seniors at San Marin High School, students will experience a fully integrated curriculum leading to a variety of college and career options.  Applications are now available in the Counseling Office.  Click here to find out more about this exciting new program.
